As a full time guide, I’ve fished many of the better known spots throughout Florida and the Caribbean for tarpon, bonefish, permit, snook, and redfish. This site is designed to help steer both novice and experienced anglers to places I feel offer the best bang for your buck and shallow water's most exciting species.

Are you looking to hire a guide in Florida for tarpon or wade on your own for bonefish in the Bahamas? Do you want to try fly fishing for permit or want to use spinning gear for redfish? Local knowledge is always the key and I’ll share as much of my own as possible on these pages. I started with this sport in Key West over fifteen years ago and have been at it ever since. I currently split my guiding year between the islands of Vieques, Puerto Rico and Pine Island, Florida. For those areas I haven’t fished yet but look promising, I’ll get firsthand reports and update them regularly.

Planning a great flats fishing vacation takes a lot more than just booking a guide. Travel tips , accommodations, places to eat and drink, and gear advice can all be found here. I’ll also throw in as much advice as possible for the non-angler as well. It’s always easier to sell a bonefishing trip to your significant other if some awesome beaches are included with the deal.
